此外，微软还警告用户应慎重对待泄露版本：

“此外，用户应当注意最好只安装和使用我们官方发布的版本
RC发布时我们会提供HASH值供校验
事实上这些问题都无伤大雅，最多重新安装软件或设备即可
对于用户的抱怨，微软解释如下：

“我们这些天也经常注意到有用户正在使用一些非官方发布的Windows 7版本并抱怨有关稳定性方面的一些问题，比如，Windows Live Messenger停止工作、打印机或其他设备消失以及开始菜单快捷方式失效等等
我们知道大家都想装上最新的版本，但谁也不知道泄露版本里有没有加入别的什么，这有一定的安全风险
