The third batch of 50 shop-on-wheels had been transported to the hard-hit areas in Sichuan Province, including Mianzu, Shifang, Beichuan, etc. by May 29. Up to now, a total of 150 shop-on-wheels have been forwarded to the quake-hit areas and put into immediate operation upon arrival. The shop-on-wheels have accumulatively traveled nearly 7,000 km and sold RMB 300,000 yuan worth of goods, which are well-acclaimed by the local disaster victims.

It is reported that in order to speed up the resumption of the commercial network operations in the 15 hard-hit counties/cities in Sichuan Province, MOFCOM shall have allocated in batches 500 shop-on-wheels for the distribution and sales of the supply of goods within 10 days since May 27.
