In order to do a good job in resuming the commercial network operations in the quake-hit areas, MOFCOM released a notice to require the competent commercial departments in the said areas to strengthen the supervision and management of the shop-on-wheels and tent shops.
The notice requires that all the provincial competent commercial departments in the quake-hit areas should earnestly do a good job in receiving and providing the shop-on-wheels and tent shops. The providing plan should be well done and the releasing range should be controlled rigidly so as to ensure that every shop-on-wheels and tent shops is delivered to the undertaking enterprises. In line with the principle of giving priority to the hard-hit areas, moderately taking into consideration the less hard-hit areas and delivering no such materials to the non-hard-hit areas, the delivering quantity should be confirmed so that the shop-on-wheels and tent shops could be delivered to the areas where the resumption of commercial network operations are most needed.
The notice makes it clear that the shop-on-wheels and tent shops shall be delivered to the quake-hit areas only. The shop-on-wheels shall not be used for any other purpose but for allocating and selling the goods supplied in the quake-hit areas; the tent shops are specially used in the temporary commercial networks in the quake-hit areas but not for residential purposes, etc. The local competent commercial departments at various levels should rigorously require the enterprises concerned to follow the special purpose requirements and put the said shops on wheels and tent shops into operation as soon as possible.
The notice stressed that the local competent commercial departments at various levels should strengthen the management and supervision of the said materials. The shop-on-wheels and tent shops will be dealt with in accordance with relevant state regulations when the market system recovers and market supply returns to normal in the quake-hit areas. The management and usage shall be inspected and audited by MOFCOM and the departments concerned.
