According to the incomplete statistics based on the figures provided by the competent commercial departments in some provinces and municipalities, and China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI), by June 4, the cash and in-kind donations by foreign-funded enterprises, multinational emprises and HK and Taiwan enterprises (excluding charitable organizations and individuals) to the quake-hit areas had reached approximately to 3.622 billion yuan. Among which the cash donation was 3.009 billion yuan and the donation in kind could be converted into 613 million yuan, including food, medicine, communications equipment, vehicles, excavating and lightening equipments, etc. Besides, some enterprises have committed to make approximately 243 million yuan cash and in-kind donations.
